We at EMT aim to provide healthcare facilities to the comminities that lack this regular healthcare. We look forward to strengthen the existing health delivering systems, improving the healthcare related behaviours of the target communities. We have been abel to serve 145000 people so far through our medical service.
Health Care
Eye care project
Good vision is one of the main contributors to good health and wits. In this view, EMT has conducted a vision screening program in various schools in the Kattankolathur Panchayat. Over 1600 students were benefitted from this program that was conducted. About 89 children were given spectacles for resolving their eyesight issues.
HIV/AIDS awareness
AIDS has always been one tormenting disease that mankind is still fighting agaisnt. Our organisation has done its part is spreading awareness of the disease. We have given awareness on safe sex and have given counselling for people infected by the virus as well. This has provided them with moral support and build their confidence amidst the community to fight against the stigma.
Health and Hygiene Education
Health and hygiene is one of the basic habits that one has hone for their well being with regard to healthcare. We have conducted an awareness campaign to "Our School"
